Analyst Consultant – Industrial Pollution Policy Ricardo, Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain Location: London, Harwell, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow (UK) & Madrid (Spain) Salary: up to £32,000 depending on location and experience Role ID: Overview Ricardo, a member of WSP, is a global strategic, environmental and engineering consulting company dedicated to creating a safe and sustainable world. The Climate Change & Environmental Policy team works with governmental and private sector organisations on the development, implementation and evaluation of environmental policies, strategies and plans, focusing on industrial emissions and circular economy policy. Responsibilities Support project delivery through primary and secondary research, stakeholder engagement, data management and analysis, qualitative analysis, report writing and presentations. Manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize contributions. Collaborate with senior colleagues to provide actionable solutions for industrial emissions and circular economy policy challenges. Develop skills in research, analysis and client-facing communication. Qualifications A degree in science or engineering, preferably with modules related to industrial processes, air and water pollution, environment and/or policy. A passion for environmental and/or human health issues. Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data to support evidence-based solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. A collaborative mindset – a team player who thrives in multidisciplinary teams. Fluency in English; Spanish required for roles in Madrid; other languages are a plus. Existing awareness or experience of working on industrial emissions and circular economy policies and strategies in the EU and the UK would be advantageous.
