Role Algorithms & Data Analyst Developer – Telecommunications Engineer Design, develop, and refine algorithms for access and Wi‑Fi technologies in a dynamic, continuous learning environment with highly cooperative colleagues. Work with global ISPs like DT, Telefónica, and Bouygues, improving access networks, Wi‑Fi management, and E2E software. Responsibilities Provide expert support for AXON Networks product features. Design, develop, and refine algorithms, including troubleshooting and bug fixing. Drive innovation in managing access networks, setting the direction for next‑generation software solutions for network access technologies. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver transformative products that meet the needs of global ISPs. Requirements Technical Skills Master’s in Telecommunications or related field (PhD is a plus). Experience working on the physical layer of communication systems. Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing. Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON) or Wi‑Fi technologies is desirable. Experience in collection, test definition, analysis, reporting of data, etc. in lab/production environments. Experience with database languages such as SQL/mongodb. Experience with version control systems, e.g., GIT. Experience in Java software development. Experience in algorithm analysis. Familiarity with Linux (as user) and programming in scripting languages like Python. Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms. Soft Skills Analytical capabilities, critical thinking, problem solving, eager to learn, proactive. Planning and organizational skills, active listening, communication skills. Teamwork, autonomous. Customer and results orientation. Fluency in both English and Spanish. Ability to work in hybrid in Madrid. Benefits A competitive salary and incentive plan.
