Clue focuses on next-generation avionics, offering a series of general-purpose computers for aerospace systems based on modular and flexible architecture.What is the job about?We are seeking an Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Engineer to spearhead the development of a next-generation IMA platform that aligns with DO-297/ED-124 certification objectives.Evaluate existing avionics hardware and software for IMA suitability.Design and define hardware/software modifications needed for compliance.Conduct partitioning analysis to assess the effective isolation of critical functions.Develop the IMA system architecture and key platform services.What will you do?In this role, you will shape and validate the system-level architecture for an IMA platform by defining partitioning, resource allocation, and hardware choices in line with DO-297/ED-124. You will also oversee certification and compliance, conduct partitioning analyses, and engage with regulators to demonstrate incremental acceptance. In addition, you will implement health monitoring and fault management strategies, coordinate safety assessments, and manage redundancy to ensure reliability.What profile are we looking for?Mandatory7+ years in avionics systems, safety-critical systems, or modular architectures.Demonstrated understanding of DO-297/ED-124 and IMA principles.Familiarity with DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, and ARINC 653 from a system perspective.Low level understanding of digital electronic systems and computer architecture.Experience in partitioning analysis of IMA modules.Familiarity with requirements management processes and tools.ValuableKnowledge on TSN and ARINC 664 (AFDX) communications.What skills do we value?You have a proactive attitude and demonstrate autonomy.Good analytical and problem-solving skills are key to excelling as an engineer.You are keen on researching state-of-the-art solutions and are able to apply your critical thinking to identify what can be adopted for our needs.You have natural organizational skills.You have the ability and eagerness to learn.You understand that to go far you go together, you are team-oriented and humble.You take pride in your work and you know that your team is your first customer, you value quality and attention to detail.Engineering is not about perfect solutions; it is about doing the best you can with limited resources.Zero excuses.
