Photonic Mesh / DWDM Engineer – Telecommunication We are looking for a goal-orientated and team-oriented person to join our team as a Photonic Mesh / DWDM Engineer – Telecommunication Empleo: Permanent About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Photonic Mesh / DWDM Engineer to support backbone network operations within the telecommunications sector . The role focuses on live network reconfiguration, node integration, and multi-vendor equipment swaps, ensuring seamless service continuity in high-traffic environments. You will be a key player in managing DWDM, ASON, and OTN technologies, driving topology changes, and supporting critical network interventions. Key Responsibilities Operate and manage live DWDM/ASON/OTN networks (1G–200G) Perform node insertion/removal and complex topology changes under live traffic conditions Manage service migrations and multi-vendor equipment swaps (Huawei, Alcatel, and others) Track SLA compliance and conduct post-change validations Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation Provide expert technical support during critical network interventions Your Profile Senior-level experience with photonic mesh and DWDM backbone networks Strong knowledge of DWDM, ASON, and OTN technologies Proven experience with multi-vendor platforms, including Huawei and Alcatel Skilled in managing live network reconfigurations and service migrations Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with cross-functional teams Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus What We Offer Challenging projects on backbone optical networks in the telecom sector International and technically advanced team environment Competitive compensation and career development opportunities We look forward to receiving your application and getting to know you better #J-18808-Ljbffr
