Our mission is to decode and modulate neural networks to restore peoples lives.As a Sr. Electronics Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge medical devices with a strong emphasis on advanced medical electronic systems. Responsible for the electronics architecture design and testing of the Falcon product.You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market making a tangible difference in peoples lives worldwide.Main Responsibilities :D evelopment of medical device electronic circuits that are part of an implantable neurostimulation system in close collaboration with mechanical and software engineering teams.Architect technical concepts and assess its technical feasibility .Generate intellectual property.Tran slat e system requirements and user needs into electronic subsystem and interface requirements .Perform functional analysis and create system designs that meet the requirements.Develop medical devices according to applicable standards.Manage external partners in the outsourced design assembly verification and validation of electronic systems that are part of the implantable neurostimulation system.Support the integration and process development related to electronics integration into the neurostimulation system .Define test strategies to verify the electronic systems against the product and manufacturing requirements.Lead the development of test systems for verification and manufacturing tests.Apply risk management and perform design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA) on designs.Initiate and lead design reviews technical reviews and milestone reviews.Lead and participate in system integration verification and validation.Understand and apply DFR / DFM / DFT (Design for Reliability Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test) including concept engineering modelling analysis sensitivity and statistical analysis.Qualifications and Soft skills :BSc or MSc in E lectronics EngineeringAt least 6 years of work experience in a relevant medical device development environmentExperienced in electronics and PCB design according to IPC standardsExperienced in the full development cycle of a medical device including design manufacturing verification and validation.A system-thinking attitude identify areas of potential improvement and develop plans to address these; Team oriented a sparring partner to colleagues in other disciplines.Experienced with electronic simulation and design methodologies and tools (e.g. Spice Alti um etc.) .Solid understanding of Medical Risk Analysis and FMEA.Experienced in managing development outsourced to subcontractors for design manufacturing and integration .Experienced in Verification test design and e xecution including statistical analysis.Solid understanding of medical device development standards and experience in applying these standards (IEC-60601 -1 IEC-60601 -2) i n medical device electronics design and verification .Fluency in English (English is company language). Fluency in Spanish is a plus.Determination to develop yourself.Be a team player.Communicate effectively.Think and act strategically.Nice to have :Experience in electronics design for active medical implantable devices according to ISO 14708.Familiar with design and verification according to the standards for active implantable medical devices.E xperience in design and testing for MRI compatibility.Experience in wireless communication and wireless charging.Familiar with medical device design from mechanical and software perspective.Experience in neuroscience with a strong interest in gaining a further understanding of this field.Why usWe are looking for someone who Is ready to proactively bring new ideas to the team push boundaries and constantly look for innovation.
