From climate change to the continual expansion of digital platforms such as Google and Facebook, companies and consumers face complex emerging challenges.Well-designed regulation is central to these issues, laying down rules with the intention of shaping outcomes that will benefit society as a whole. Your role in the team Collaborate with colleagues and clients to resolve complex economics issues. Conduct empirical and quantitative analysis in Excel, Stata, R and/or Python. Write reports, presentations and articles, independently or in conjunction with others. What we're looking for An excellent academic record with an undergraduate degree, covering Microeconomics, Industrial Organisation, Econometrics and Regulatory economics. Strong problem-solving abilities, and analytical and communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and the local language of the location you are applying for. An additional European language is desirable, and is a requirement for those based in Brussels or Paris. Previous experience of producing insights and providing recommendations within a client-facing context (advantageous). A collaborative team player approach. Desirable: knowledge of programming languages such as Stata and/or R. What we can offer you A highly competitive salary.
