The Supplier Quality Engineer for Purchased Materials aims to ensure that all bought products for in Europe are defined and produced according Ecolab customers and interested parties requirements and that it follows the specifications and legal requirements. This role also has the responsibility to ensure that the products are reliable and in compliance with engineering and product specifications. This person should act as an ambassador for quality assurance.Whats in it For You :The opportunity to take on some of the worlds most meaningful challenges helping customers achieve clean water safe food and healthy environmentsThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people perspectives and ideas to achieve our bestWhat You Will Do :Support Global team on Supplier improvement processAssess new suppliers with regards to Global Ecolab processManage the quality aspects of SCAR process and KPIsSupport the new introduction program new componentsDeploy and assure quality and regulatory requirementsBe the key support of Stake holders on improvement and / or sourcingAudit the system and the process of the suppliersWork on new procedure or maintain current ones according International StandardsWork into a matrix organization and provide support to the divisionsProvide continuous improvement on Supplier data base and productGive an energic support on MPDQ saving programQuality connection to external supply baseMinimum Qualifications :Degree in Engineering (industrial mechanical) 5 years of experience managing quality systems with three in relation with Supplier quality and ideally in relation with Procurement and / or RDE.Experience in a QA Management Role within an Engineering / Manufacturing production process environment and experience in plastic molding and R&DE equipment development where relevant formal qualification is required.Technical skills in RDE / production process continuous improvementFull understanding on the requirements for the product or service and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition.Ability to work independently prioritizes multiple projects addresses multiple issues and handles multiple deadlines in a hands-on environment.Excellent communicator verbal and written with the ability to persuade and influence.Excellent team player.
