Software Engineer GCPJob Title: Software Engineer Location: Malmo, Sweden Duration: 6-12 month contract Experience: 4-7 Years Working Mode: Hybrid Location: Open Malm , Madrid or Offshore Background: This role is part of digital Instore Analytics capability area, of PCMP Co-Worker Operational Tools within the Omni Meeting Points area. Here, we develop data-driven in-house solutions built on GCP Role: We are seeking a data analyst with data engineering background. The consultant will collaborate with inhouse teams of software engineers for data engineering and data analysis tasks. Reporting: Will report to the Engineering Manager responsible for this area. Timing: Work in CET time zone from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional flexibility. Location: Open Malm , Madrid or Offshore. No Travel required. No international mobility required. Candidates with recent data background will get preference. The scope of the consultant services is to assist CLIENT S inCollaborate with engineers for data topics to develop, maintain and improve products - ensuring the flow of data, streamlining the processes for data collection, data quality analysis, data visualization, maintain and automate data workloads, design data processing, developing data collection processes with data pipelines Ownership encompasses all activities related to data, including deployment, release management, security, and privacy. Enhance the product by driving innovation and implementing automation. Plan, track, and document work primarily using Jira, GitHub, and Confluence. Adhere to data tech guidelines, best practices, and architectural recommendations Create and maintain new KPIs in Looker studio or Power BI Create and refine machine learning and LLMs including the creation of ML models and ML related tasks like waiting time estimation Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc: Comprehensive understanding of Google Cloud Platform data visualization tools GCP stack: Big query, cloud storage, cloud functions, cloud scheduler, dataflow, data form, etc Visualization tools: Power BI Looker Studio Languages: Python Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, Numpy, TensorFlow Database systems: Relational databases e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases e.g., Firestore. Machine Learning: Create and maintain a ML model and LLMs Data analysis critical thinking skills to identify, analyze and use data for business requirements Good understanding of Data Quality analysis What 3 things from the box above are most important? Ability to work with data end to end from extraction - transformation- load, visualization The ability to work with different type of data set from various sources own the tasks for data within a product Proficient in GCP components data visualization GCP, Python, Pandas
