Underwriting Process Analyst

Chubb European Group is seeking an adaptable and analytical Underwriter Process Analyst to join our EMEA Underwriting Centre. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with underwriting teams, operations, and regional stakeholders to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and deliver premium service across our diverse markets. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive process analysis and evaluation of underwriting workflows across multiple countries and lines of business, using critical thinking to break down complexity and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement standardized procedures and best practices, ensuring alignment with Chubb’s strategies and guidelines. Leverage technology and advanced data analytics tools to extract actionable data insights, identify trends, and monitor performance metrics, supporting continuous improvement and loss analysis initiatives. Prepare and deliver persuasive business presentations to all the relevant stakeholders, clearly conveying Chubb’s products, services, and operational capabilities. Foster strong, mutually beneficial relationships with underwriting, operations, IT teams, and regional stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and cross-functional collaboration. Document underwriting processes in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Apply strong problem-solving skills to select optimal solutions, manage competing priorities, and ensure efficient workflow and desk management. Demonstrate adaptability by responding effectively to regulatory requirements, changing market conditions, and both company and customer needs. Academic background in Mathematics, Actuarial, Economics will be desirable.  At least 2 years of experience working in the insurance industry.  Fluency in English is a must. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with proficiency in data analytics tools and advanced Excel (Macros, . Capable to work with data visualization tools such as Power Bi, Visio, Power Point. Deep understanding of underwriting processes, insurance industry regulations, and contract structures. Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and business partnership abilities. Demonstrated adaptability, prioritization, and opportunity management skills in a fast-paced environment.
