Within the breeding department of Rijk Zwaan we are developing new varieties for different climatic conditions. The assistant is involved in practical breeding activities such as valuating and reporting on the various selection and variety trials. Sowing, crosses, harvesting, seed logistic and reporting the results in our breeding administration system; 10% of the job has office tasks like planning and co-ordination of trials in database.We are seeking an assistant breeding with: Higher vocational training in AgricultureGood team playerGood communication skillsOrganizational skillsHave a keen eye for detail and take a pragmatic approachGood knowledge of SpanishBesides an academic level of thinking, we are looking for a very practical candidate who is not afraid of dirty hands and feet in the field.We can offer you: a solid position in a strong vegetable seed companya young developing teaminternational exposure and many options to develop your skills within Rijk ZwaanRijk Zwaan is an international family business with an employee-oriented corporate culture.
