Senior Lecturer

Senior Lecturer / Lecturer (holding the title of Associate Project Director / Senior Project Manager) in the Faculty of Social Sciences The University of Hong Kong invites applications for the position. The appointment will commence on or after a suitable date and continue until 30 June 2027, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.Duties And Responsibilities Lead a team of training officers and research officers to ensure timely delivery of training and research deliverables.Perform administrative roles and prepare regular reports to the funder, collaborators and directors.Participate in teaching of professional training programmes and engage in public education activities of the project.Support and perform other duties as assigned.Requirements Master’s degree or above in Social Work, Gerontology, Mental Health, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counselling, Management or a related discipline.At least 5–8 years of relevant work experience in managing professional and public education projects, preferably in medical and social work topics.Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English.Knowledge in palliative care, family counseling, use of art, use of therapeutic groups and bereavement care is an advantage.Applicants with less experience or qualifications may be considered for appointment as Lecturer.What We Offer A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, annual leave, medical benefits, and possible renewal of appointment.How To Apply Applicants should apply online, upload a covering letter and an up‑to‑date C.V.
