AI Engineer – Remote – IT – 6 Months Initial ContractOur client, an international IT service provider, is seeking an AI Engineer to join them as a contractor, with the option to work fully remote from Europe, or onsite in Valencia, Spain. This is suitable for junior level candidates with extensive AI/ML experience.Starting with an initial 6 month contract, multiple extensions are expected and there is great, long-term potential. There’ll be a single stage Teams interview in January/February and the selected candidate will onboard soon after. If selected, you will be involved with the full machine learning lifecycle and help advance our client’s capabilities in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI, working closely with data scientists, software engineers, and infrastructure teams.Location: Valencia, Spain (remote from Europe)What You’ll DoDesigning and implementing machine and deep learning-based AI & NLP workflows, algorithms and solutions.Deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.Identification and evaluation of strategic concepts, tools/languages, technologies, services etc in the field of AI, NLP and deep learning.Work in public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or Google) as well as on-premises.Work with GPU-based backends and cloud platforms.Install and configure AI and ML Ops systems to ensure functionality.What You’ll NeedExperience with NVIDIA Triton Inference Server; vLLM; or Ollama.Experience with API and web service development and web app development in Python; agile methodologies; containers and their orchestration; cloud computing solutions.Knowledge and experience of the following technologies: python, bash, git, ssh, and linux terminal.Familiarity with one of the following deep learning backends: keras, tensorflow, pytorch, or JAX.Fluent English language skills.If working remotely, you must be based in Europe with ability to work a standard CET time zone schedule.If this role is of interest to you, please respond with your CV and contact details as soon as possible.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting#J-18808-Ljbffr
