Sr. Financial Analyst

Sr. Financial Analyst – IQVIA – Madrid, Spain IQVIA Spain is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our expanding company. The role is critical to driving financial performance and strategic decision‑making across Spain, Portugal, and Turkey business units, providing insight on key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for continual process improvement. Responsibilities Support collection, consolidation, and validation of financial inputs from EMEA clusters/countries during monthly forecast cycles. Report Spain & Portugal revenue, cost, and expense annual plan and strategic planning financials, assisting the Finance Manager with preparation of the annual plan. Prepare operating review meetings, strategic planning review meetings, and budget review meetings. Conduct monthly forecasting and budgeting reviews. Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, and provide commentary on key business drivers. Submit monthly forecast and plan in Hyperion. Support the Operational Excellence program, reporting on project profitability, offshoring, and utilization, establishing regular reporting cadence to key internal customers. Develop and maintain financial models to support the EMEA cluster/countries with forecast plan drivers, templates, and operational excellence insights. Collaborate with country finance teams and business leaders to understand local market dynamics and ensure alignment with regional objectives. Provide financial insights and decision support for strategic initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and data quality. Optimize FP&A tools and systems (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake). Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support internal and external audit requirements as needed. Education, Experience & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred. 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in a multinational or regional EMEA context. Strong proficiency in Excel financial modeling and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Experience with planning tools (e.g., Hyperion) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across geographies. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Fluency in English and Spanish.
