At ING Hubs Spain we are looking for a CyberRecovery Operations Engineer.Role and work environmentWe are looking for a talented and enthusiastic CyberRecovery Operations Engineer. The CR Service Operations Engineer is responsible for maintaining and operating secure regulated and air-gapped infrastructure environments. This role focuses on automation, observability, and operational excellence across backup, monitoring, and network security domains. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity, infrastructure integrity, and compliance with internal standards.QualificationsProven experience in Linux and Windows system administrationStrong proficiency in automation using Ansible and Python, including playbook development and integration with operational workflowsSolid understanding of observability and monitoring, with hands‑on experience in Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetryAbility to consume and integrate REST APIs for orchestration data extraction and automationFamiliarity with network security operations, including configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto firewallsUnderstanding of backup lifecycle, including retention, integrity validation, and recovery coordinationFluent in English with strong documentation and remote collaboration skillsNice to haveExperience coordinating hardware lifecycle events (installation, upgrades, decommissioning)Familiarity with identity and access management (Active Directory, PKI, certificate lifecycle)Exposure to storage systems (block, object, or database‑level) and backup workflowsKnowledge of Oracle Exadata and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA) platforms, especially in relation to backup and recovery operationsExperience operating in air‑gapped or highly regulated environments, including patching, configuration, and recovery exercisesExperience with Ansible AWXExperience with operational reporting workflowsFamiliarity with disconnected WSUS environmentsAbility to contribute to operational playbooksAgile mindset and experience working in cross‑functional teamsWhat do we offerThe time you spend at work, the challenges you face, and the lessons you get are very important.
