That’s where you come in.The roleWe’re looking for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Team and lead Jotelulu’s financial strategy through its next phase of growth. Reporting directly to our CEO, David Amorín , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial roadmap, leading capital-raising initiatives, and strengthening the company’s financial operations to support our European expansion. This is both a strategic and hands‑on role—perfect for a finance leader who thrives in dynamic, high‑growth SaaS environments and enjoys building processes, teams, and systems that scale.What you’ll own and driveStrategy & Financial LeadershipDefine and execute Jotelulu’s long‑term financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth plans.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support decision‑making.Oversee Series B fundraising, managing relationships with equity and debt investors.Drive pricing strategy, unit economics, and capital allocation decisions.Ensure financial planning supports international expansion across multiple geographies.Present board materials, financial reports, and risk assessments to the Executive Team.Finance Operations & GovernanceOversee finance and legal functions, ensuring compliance with Spanish and EU regulations.Implement and optimize financial systems (ERP, BI tools) and automation processes.Supervise statutory reporting, tax strategy, and risk management.Maintain strong financial controls and lead external audits.Build and develop a high‑performing finance and legal team, promoting efficiency and accountability.Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to analyze performance, model scenarios, and make strategic decisions.Collaborate with external advisors, auditors, and regulators.Day‑to‑day tasksLead weekly finance team syncs and individual 1:1s to align goals, track progress, and support development.Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and KPIs for the Executive Team and Board.Monitor cash flow, optimize capital structure, and manage banking relationships.Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Collaborate with the Product and Operations teams to align spending with growth priorities.Review and negotiate major contracts, vendor agreements, and investment opportunities.Support due diligence and investor meetings during fundraising rounds.Represent Jotelulu in financial, legal, and investor‑related events.Travel regularly between Madrid HQ and key international locations to ensure alignment and oversight.Tooling you’ll useFinancial Systems & ERP: NetSuite, Odoo, or similar platformsAnalytics & Reporting: Power BI, Excel, Google SheetsForecasting & Modeling: Adaptive Planning, AnaplanProject & Task Management: Jira, ConfluenceCRM & Documentation: Salesforce, Notion, or equivalent toolsWhat will make us fall in love with you as a candidateIt will be a perfect match if…You’re a strategic thinker with strong operational execution.You’ve successfully led fundraising rounds (Series A–C) in SaaS or tech companies.You’re passionate about scaling financial operations and building teams that drive efficiency.You combine analytical rigor with strong business intuition.You’re proactive, adaptable, and thrive in fast‑moving, international environments.You communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.You lead with trust, ownership, and transparency , inspiring those around you.Requirements that are important for usPlease, only apply if you match these:10+ years of experience in senior finance roles within SaaS or technology‑driven businesses.Proven track record scaling companies from Series A to Series C+.Expertise in fundraising, financial modeling, CAPEX financing, and investor relations.Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA or CFA is a plus.Deep understanding of financial systems, automation, and process optimization.Experience in venture capital‑backed companies; exposure to deep‑tech, cloud, or cybersecurity sectors is a plus.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Fluent in English and Spanish.Who will you be working with?You’ll be part of our Executive Leadership Team , collaborating closely with:CEO and Founders , defining growth strategy and key financial decisions.Operations, Product, and Platform teams , to align investments with business priorities.Legal and Compliance , ensuring regulatory alignment in Spain and the EU.Investors and external advisors , managing reporting, due diligence, and capital planning.What we offerHybrid remote model (50-50 per year) . 2 days at home, 3 in the office.
