Director of People Operations & Labour Factorial is seeking a Director of People Operations & Labour to join our team and help us boost the company to the next level. The Director of People Operations & Labour role combines deep labour law expertise, operational excellence, and strategic leadership in a fast‐growing, international tech environment. The Labour Relations Director will act as the primary point of reference for all labour, regulatory and complex employee matters, partnering closely with senior leadership to support sustainable growth. Labour Strategy & Business Alignment Define and execute the global labour relations strategy aligned with business priorities in a fast‐growing international tech environment. Act as the company's primary authority on Spanish labour law, ensuring full legal compliance and risk mitigation. Provide labour guidance and oversight across other jurisdictions, supporting international growth and local compliance. Governance, Compliance & Policy Development Develop and maintain global labour policies, frameworks and procedures that ensure consistency, scalability and legal compliance. Lead internal and external labour audits, ensuring documentation accuracy, traceability and regulatory compliance. Implement monitoring and control mechanisms to ensure robust labour governance across all territories. Represent the company in labour‐related proceedings and formal interactions with social partners and authorities. Ensure compliant management of Social Security procedures, contract changes, terminations and regulatory filings. Oversee payroll governance and drive process automation to improve efficiency, scalability and accuracy, in close collaboration with Finance and external providers. Ensure HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) compliance and risk‐prevention standards across offices. Strong expertise in Spanish labour law and solid knowledge of international labour frameworks. Experience leading People Operations or HR operational teams, including Social Security processes, payroll governance and labour documentation. Strong analytical, risk‐assessment and decision‐making skills with a business‐oriented mindset. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills at senior level. Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
