Job Title: SAP FI Consultant – Universal Parallel Accounting (Remote – Spain based candidates only) Location: Remote with occasional onsite travel (Spain based candidates only) Duration: 12+ months + possible Extension Role Overview: Senior SAP FI Consultant to support a major S/4HANA Universal Parallel Accounting (UPA) implementation for a leading client. This is a large‑scale, multinational program aimed at harmonizing financial processes across regions. Responsibilities Support end‑to‑end UPA implementation. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to configure and test financial processes. Ensure compliance with multi‑ledger, multi‑GAAP accounting and valuation methods. Work with New Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, and, where applicable, Group Reporting. Assist in controlling integration and provide functional guidance. Qualifications 8‑10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO). Strong hands‑on experience with S/4HANA UPA (must have). Proven involvement in at least one end‑to‑end implementation including UPA. Excellent understanding of multi‑ledger, multi‑GAAP accounting, and valuation methods. Solid functional knowledge of New Asset Accounting and Material Ledger. Experience working on large, multinational SAP programs. Strong communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments.
