Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer - 85,000 EUROSMálagaHelp shape the future of cyber defense in a truly global, fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesEngineer & Own Security ToolsBuild, deploy, and maintain core systems, from IDS and SIEM to WAF, SEG, MDM, and beyond.Lead by ExampleAct as a technical leader, guiding and supporting junior engineers while delivering projects end-to-end.Partner with teams across the business to embed robust security practices from design to delivery.Incident Response & Problem SolvingBe a key part of the security escalation and on‑call support rotation — owning investigations when it counts.Drive Automation & Process MaturityIdentify opportunities to reduce friction, improve workflows, and bring consistency through automation.Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the team.What You’ll Bring5+ years of hands‑on security engineering experience , ideally in online, enterprise or hybrid environments.Deep knowledge of security tech stacks: IDS, vulnerability management, IAM, SIEM, WAF, SEG, MDM.Experience with hybrid/on‑prem environments and applying security controls pragmatically based on risk.Hands‑on scripting/coding skills — enough to automate configurations and routine ops.Familiarity with standards like NIST, CIS , and experience designing secure architectures.AppSec or DLP exposureExperience with SOAR platformsSecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP‑ISSEP, CCSP)What Makes You a Great FitYou're a natural mentor and problem‑solver , eager to help others grow.You combine technical depth with strong communication and collaboration skills .You can take ownership of a project and deliver with high standards.You're constantly learning — from new threats to emerging technologies.You're calm under pressure, organized, and understand how to balance risk with business enablement.About the EnvironmentYou'll join a distributed, collaborative security engineering team with coverage across multiple continents.
