Electrical Simulations & Models Engineer (m/f/d) Nordex GroupSarriguren, Chartered Community of Navarre, Spain Responsibilities Internally validate simulation models of the Nordex wind turbines and Power Plant Controllers during the quality assurance process, adjusting models for each project and ensuring settings fully comply with grid code requirements applicable to every market. Site‑specific adjustment of Nordex simulation models using software platforms such as PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT, ANATEM, and others. Internal quality checks on the simulation models of the wind turbine (WT) and power plant controller (PPC). Support the sales department during contractual discussions. Support NX’s clients and their consultants during connection studies for grid integration. Qualifications M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or a related field. Experience with simulation software (PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT, ANATEM, etc.). Experience defining test cases and ideally test‑driven development. Programming experience in Python or a similar language, supporting test analysis and automation. Self‑responsible, structured, customer‑ and solution‑oriented working mindset. Intercultural understanding and ability to collaborate with teams across functions and geographies. Strong communication skills. Proactive, assertive, and a team player. English (B2 or higher); Spanish/German language skills are a plus. +3 years of relevant experience. Availability to travel. Benefits Some offers may vary by location.
