They are urgently seeking a Freelance Embedded Software Engineer to join a high-impact mission defining the next phase of satellite technology. This is a long-term, hybrid contract role, offering you the chance to work on cutting-edge space systems with a highly respected organisation in the sector. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement embedded software in C for mission-critical satellite systems. Work on bare-metal development for space-grade hardware. Conduct static analysis and unit testing to ensure code reliability and safety. Debug and resolve complex software issues in real-time systems. Ideal Candidate: Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems. Experience with bare-metal development in aerospace or similar high-integrity environments. Familiarity with static analysis tools, unit testing frameworks, and real-time debugging techniques. This role is a business critical position and the client is actively interviewing candidates.
