You will lead a team of data modelers, delivering tailored data use cases and products that solve complex business challenges for our clients. This role is crucial in driving data strategy, ensuring the creation of robust, reusable data assets, and implementing advanced data automation solutions. You will foster a collaborative environment, promote best practices, and align data modeling efforts with our clients\' unique enterprise data model and strategic goals.As a Lead Data Modeler, you will:Team Leadership & Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data modelersEstablish and maintain efficient team processes, adapting to the diverse platform and organizational needs of our clientsManage team capacity and task assignmentsProvide guidance and support to enhance team skills in business analysis, the use of data platforms, their applications and data automation tools (BiGenius), tailored to client needsConduct recruitment and onboarding of new team members (e.g. modelers) to support our clients teamsData Model Delivery:Collaborate with client project managers to define clear deliverables and timelinesBalance rapid delivery of client use cases with the creation of long-term, reusable data assets that benefit our clientsManage dependencies between client data domainsLiaise with vendors to adapt tools to specific client requirementsEnsure the coherence and integrity of our clients\' enterprise data model, and the consistency of their data products and data contractsData Model Governance:Partner with client data domain managers and squad teams to foster organic growth of reusable data assetsCollaborate with client governance teams to maintain consistent data terminologyManage and optimize data automation tools and associated best practices for client environmentsSupport client teams in implementing modern data delivery practices (source control, CI/CD, PR)Promote best practices for business model using ELM methodology, datavault modeling and encourage the use of agile modelsRequirementsWhat we are looking forProficiency in data vault modeling and agile modeling techniques.
