Project Engineer for AC and HVDC Subsea Cable Technology (m/f/x) Join the Fichtner team as a Project Engineer for AC and HVDC Subsea Cable Technology (m/f/x).About Us : Since 1922, FICHTNER has been supporting exciting projects in the fields of energy, environment, renewable energies, water management, and consulting and IT as one of the leading independent engineering and consulting companies.Your Tasks :Support subsea cable projects (AC and HVDC) with cable engineering, design, technology and manufacturing know-howDevelop HV cable specifications for inner array or export cable systemsReview cable design and manufacturing documentsPrepare and attend supplier and factory audits as well as cable type tests, and support the cable manufacturing supervisionBackoffice engineering for NCR and punch items from the cable manufacturing processManage the interface to the cable installationIdentify and report technical risksContribute to the overall optimization of inner array grid layouts and export cable connections for offshore wind farmsReport to package and/or project managers and liaise with colleagues from other workYour Profile :Master, Bachelor or equivalent in electrical or industrial engineeringSeveral years of relevant subsea cable engineering experienceFamiliar with developing or working with EPC tender, design and manufacturing documentsExperience in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and/or AC power transmissionExperience in offshore wind and/or interconnector projectsFluency in EnglishWillingness to undertake regular trips to the project countriesValid EU work permitCorporate Benefits :Permanent contract, competitive salaryA modern digital infrastructure, mobile working, flexible working hoursA growing team in a start-up environment backed up by a large global operating companyThe opportunity to take responsibility from the startExciting international projects in the energy industryCulture of staff appreciation, equal opportunity and attractive career prospects in an international job environment with staff originating from 66 nationsFichtner is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.#J-18808-Ljbffr
