General Information:
As R&D Engineer, you will join our South Europe Technology Center, an organization leading continuous research and development activities on transformers. Specifically, you will be part of the R&D Team in Zaragoza (Spain), and you will contribute to the development of projects related to the performance of dry transformers and contribute to the successful roadmap execution.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute R&D projects following the internal Gate Model and ensure they are delivered on time and on budget according to priorities.
  • Challenge the status quo in technical issues, projects and/or processes, transferring your knowledge and findings from lab scale to production environment.
  • Support product care activities while monitoring the quality performance of the products under your responsibility.
  • Drive the implementation of the resulting actions in either active products or new developments.
  • Provide punctual technical support to production factories.

Your Background:

  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering. Higher formal education will be meriting.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in product development and/or design of industrial equipment, preferably dry-type transformers.
  • Expertise in the mechanical and/or thermal performance of epoxy resin will be very valuable.
  • Initiative, creativity, “out of the box” thinking and great attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
