Overview QC Engineer role at ATG Europe . Location: Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries) and will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). We are looking for a QC Engineer in support to our client Fusion for Energy. Responsibilities Review suppliers’ quality related documents. Provide support to supervisions and audits performed to suppliers. Follow up of Non-Conformities and deviations (deviations are changes in the requirement of the contract). Establish close communication with suppliers, being supportive to achieving a smooth progress of the activities. Supervise and inspect the manufacturing processes of mechanical components at the suppliers. Support the definition, qualification and monitoring of joining techniques (Machining, Welding, Assembly) of various components (materials such as stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc.). Monitoring of non-destructive tests carried out in suppliers, including Ultrasound and Radiography. Essential Please ensure that your CV clearly explains how you meet these mandatory requirements. If it doesn’t align completely with the essential criteria, it could result in rejection. Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or nuclear engineering (or equivalent). Ideally at least 8 years of experience in the manufacturing domain, with involvement in QA and QC activities and experience in supplier supervision/audit. Candidates with fewer years of experience are also encouraged to apply. Proven experience in: Quality, Audits, and QA procedures. Knowledge of quality control (primarily welding and NDT - RT, UT). Ability to work both autonomously and in a team. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Advantageous Experience in the nuclear environment. Knowledge of material science. Knowledge of Spanish. Please submit your application in English via the apply button below.
