Youll play a key role in shaping the future of cross-border finance, while advancing your own career in a dynamic, high-growth industry.Senior Data Platform EngineerMadrid Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from homeJoin Our Data Team at Ebury Madrid Office.Eburys strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data team and we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform teamOur mission is to develop maintain and improve Eburys Data Platform with a focus on building scalable, robust, and innovative frameworks.As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help develop and improve the Data Platform.What we offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Discretionary bonus based on performance- Continued personal development through training and certification- We are Open Source friendly, following Open Source principles in our internal projects and encouraging contributions to external projectsResponsibilities:- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform to be consumed across the company- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights- Drive innovation and explore emerging technologies to enhance our data capabilities- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and securityAbout you:- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experience working with structured and unstructured data sources- Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling- Graph database modelling encouraged- Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale- Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, continuously improving both technical and business skills- Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions- Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)Python, SQL, BigQuery #J-18808-Ljbffr
