We bridge the physical and digital worlds with cutting-edge metrology, reality capture, and positioning solutions – making industries and cities safer, smarter, and more sustainable.Hexagon's Geosystems division specifically focuses on combining accurate measurement, positioning, and mapping technologies with industry-tailored workflows to help geodata-dependent industries capture, visualise, and analyse the physical world, turning data into actionable insights for better decision-making and improved efficiency.Looking forward, we are striving to enable our customers to meet sustainability and demographic challenges – ultimately advancing them towards truly autonomous solutions.When it has to be right, it has to be Hexagon.ResponsibilitiesDrive the transition from legacy systems to cutting-edge data solutions.Take ownership of challenging projects with ambitious timelines.Design, develop, and optimise end‑to‑end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and modelling pipelines.Develop automation scripts, ETL workflows, and data transformation processes using Python.Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform query performance tuning.Work with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (business, analytics, SAP teams) to gather and implement data requirements.Work on data extraction and integration scenarios with SAP S/4HANA (Good to Have).QualificationsStrong experience in IT application engineering and data analytics platforms.Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Dataflows, and related components.Familiarity with SAP BW and / or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.Hands‑on expertise with Python, Pandas, SQL, Spark and other data‑engineering toolsets.Experience building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines.Understanding of CI / CD, Azure DevOps, and Git‑based workflows.Exposure to Power BI or other BI tools.Several years of experience in Data Engineering.Excellent data quality, governance, and security practices across data pipelines.BenefitsThe bonus is calculated according to the company's performance.Stable employment conditions: permanent contract.Ticket Restaurants (2420 euro net by year).Possibility to apply at any time for private medical insurance with Adeslas.Modern office in an attractive location in Barcelona (5 minutes walking from Sants Train Station).Access to an online platform reserved for our employees where you can benefit from discounts on more than 50 brands including fashion, technology, travel, culture, etc.Remote work policy: the company provides 250 euro per year gross to manage internet and other expenses.Teleworking model: hybrid model with a lot of flexibility.We consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
