We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.Field Service Engineer Junior – ResponsibilitiesCarry out installation, emergency repair, preventive maintenance, retrofits and upgrades on Alcon surgical equipment, and perform workshop engineer tasks such as reprocessing machines and warehouse support.Complete preventative maintenance routine as scheduled and per contract conditions, and respond to emergency calls.Test repaired instruments in all operating modes and demonstrate that they operate at Alcon specifications.Install retrofits and instruct customers of the resultant benefits and changes.Ensure a high level of communication with customers, sales force, Clinical Applications, and operations within the operating region to address customer needs rapidly.Assume responsibility for customer satisfaction on assigned cases.Control expenses within budgeted guidelines.Support spare parts management, including the timely return of strategic spare part cores.Strategically promote, educate and market Alcon services to customers.Provide feedback to the sales force and management team and inform about any commercial opportunity.Achieve technical training certifications to meet requirements and scope of responsibilities.Manage service license agreements.Install and remove new systems and demo environments.QualificationsGraduate in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or Industrial Engineering.Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering is an advantage.Highly recommended knowledge or experience in network communication.Similar experience in field service is an advantage.Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).Valid driving licence.Basic technical knowledge: oscilloscope.Organized, autonomous, adaptable and flexible.Benefits / How You Can Thrive at AlconFull training from the beginning (previous experience not required).Company car and other facilities.International exposure.Open, friendly and collaborative culture; work in a challenging environment with an outstanding team that supports your development.Opportunities for professional growth and career development.Key SkillsMobileIronRoboticsField ServiceMechanical KnowledgeSonographyIP NetworkingSchematicsMechanical EngineeringMedical ImagingHuman ResourcesProgrammable Logic ControllersTroubleshootingEmployment Type: Full-Time#J-18808-Ljbffr
