Would you like to work for a growing global company with an international culture?As part of the MES Team and project Teams, the Senior System Engineer makes a qualitative contribution to the project within their area of expertise by working independently. The aim is to help ensure that the delivery of a project is completed properly within the predetermined time and scope. By engaging with the client, you identify their expectations and needs. You help think about effective and efficient solutions for the client and translate these into a customized program.What you will doDevelop effective and efficient software and technical specifications that meet the client's expectations and needs.Draw up documentation on the activities carried out within the framework of the project.Supervise System Engineers within the project to make sure everyone makes a qualitative contribution to the project within their expertise under your guidance.Ensure the predetermined planning and procedures are respected.Attend project meetings always aiming to achieve consensus on the most effective and efficient solution for the client.Hold a Techno-commercial role (10% of the time) to assist in defining project scope with the Sales Team and budgeting the actual costs as realistically as possible.What we expect from our new colleagueAn active person eager to learn and excel in your duties.A responsible person, taking ownership, result-driven, and working with the team as one to overcome challenges.Execute MES projects worldwide.Be able to define technical solutions as a technical expert in order to resolve the needs of our customers.A curious person, being able to discover and think out of the box.The wish list for a Manufacturing Execution System Senior EngineerAt least 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in the MES/MOM field.Engineering master's degree preferable, or a professional bachelor's degree in a technical subject and/or an affinity with software development.Code development expertise with at least one of our most used technologies/programming languages (C#, AngularJS, SQL, Python).Definition of implementation strategies and knowledge of MES architecture solutions is a plus.Understanding automation systems (DCS, PLCs, SCADA and Batch Execution systems) is not required but a plus.Working with more than one MES Technology is a plus, such as Traksys, Siemens Opcenter Process/Pharma, AVEVA MES.Fluent English required.In possession of a valid driver’s license.You are a European citizen or have a valid long‑term European work and stay permit.Ideal location: Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, France or Germany.What AG Solution has to offerIn AG Solution, you work in a big international team, for a wide range of businesses.
