Principal Biometrics Consultant @ Warman O'Brien Limited | Recruiting StatisticiansSenior Principal (AD) or Principal Project Lead Biostatistician – Leading CRO – Homebased – UK / EuropeWe have recently partnered with an award winning CRO, who are looking for an experienced Principal Statistician to join their successful study delivery team, specialising in Vaccines or oncology (other TA's considered also).How you will be a successThe Principal Biostatistician will be accountable for the leadership of the Biostatistics and Programming activities of a program of studies of moderate complexity and/or of high value with high impact for the organization. Also responsible for planning, monitoring, organizing and reviewing activities of biostatisticians and programmers working on the assigned program of studies, ensuring individual studies and the overall program of studies and integrated analyses are delivered on time, on budget to required quality. Accountabilities also include maintenance of consistency across studies.Serves as lead biostatistician for programs of studies, submissions, or on simple to complex individual studies.Oversees statistical activities that support the company's interactions with clients and regulatory agencies.Reviews and approves statistical methods sections of study protocols, statistical analysis plans and statistical input to reports.Prepares and approves research proposals and budgets to provide statistical consulting and to conduct statistical analyses for clients.Participates in bid defense meetings and makes presentations at marketing meetings with prospective clients.Your ProfileMaster's degree or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field with 9 or more years of biostatistical experience with Master’s degree; 7 or more years required with Ph.D.Advanced knowledge of multiple statistical and therapeutic areas, the drug development process, and statistical programming practices and procedures.Advanced ability to plan, supervise, implement, and monitor the statistical processes for multiple clinical studies.Knowledge of clinical trials methodology, regulatory requirements, statistics and statistical software packages, including SAS are a must.Effective written and oral communication skills with demonstrated leadership ability.What you get in returnOngoing development is vital, and as a Principal Biostatistician you will have the opportunity to progress your career, with the potential to move into other related areas to enhance your skill set.In comparison with their competitor’s and pharmaceutical companies, they provide more flexible working platforms for coaching and educating newcomers to be highly respected professionals in our industry.They also provide successful candidates with an excellent employment package and benefits adapted to the current job market.
