The position is based in Madrid, Spain.About Telefónica TechTelefónica Tech is the leading digital transformation company of Grupo Telefónica, offering integrated cybersecurity, cloud, IoT, big data, AI, and blockchain solutions to help clients transform digitally.Role OverviewIn the Offensive Security Unit of Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech, the engineer will provide accurate security posture assessments, discovering critical vulnerabilities and helping clients prioritize risks based on exploitability and impact.ResponsibilitiesPerform penetration testing on networks and infrastructures.Analyze vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs and infrastructure.Review system hardening.Discover vulnerabilities.Analyze IoT device vulnerabilities.Assess third‑party security reports to identify risk level.Prepare technical reports in English and Spanish.Deliver technical and executive presentations.Experience & QualificationsAt least 2 years of experience in ethical hacking / penetration testing.Required certifications: eJPT, eCPPT, eWPT.Desirable certifications: OSCP, OSEP, CARTP, Burp Suite Certified Practitioner (BSCP).Proficiency in tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Postman.Programming and scripting knowledge.Fluency in Spanish (native). Desired proficiency in English (B2).Technical SkillsWebApp, infrastructure and API penetration testing.Vulnerability analysis and verification.Tooling: Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Postman.Programming and scripting languages.Soft SkillsPassionate about technology and offensive security.Creative and with a hacker mindset.Proactive, willing to take on challenges.Strong technical communication skills.Analytical risk identification ability.LanguagesSpanish: Native.
