Full-Stack Blockchain Engineer – Stablecoin Platform

The Role We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Blockchain Engineer to take ownership of core systems powering a stablecoin platform and associated DeFi functionality. You’ll work across smart contracts, backend infrastructure, and frontend interfaces to deliver a seamless, secure, and scalable experience. In this role, you’ll design mission-critical components for on-chain and off-chain stablecoin flows, build programmable yield mechanisms, and help architect the financial operating system of the future. The work spans global payments, capital efficiency, and digital asset compliance—all built with a focus on performance, transparency, and decentralisation. You’ll collaborate with a small, expert team of engineers and product leaders to develop tools that empower institutions and individuals to interact with digital dollars safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities Develop smart contracts supporting issuance, redemption, treasury operations, and yield logic for fiat-backed or synthetic stablecoins. Build and maintain backend systems handling minting/burning, reconciliation, compliance workflows, and cross-system integrations. Develop internal and external APIs/SDKs for partners and developers to access stablecoin features programmatically. Design systems to manage collateral, automate treasury allocation, and provide real-time reporting. Collaborate on integrations with custody, compliance, and financial infrastructure providers. Define technical architecture that prioritises reliability, scalability, and security. Participate in regular security reviews and engage with external auditors and stakeholders. Mentor engineers and contribute to shaping a strong engineering culture within the team. Experience & Skills Required 7+ years of experience in backend and blockchain engineering, with hands‑on Solidity and TypeScript expertise. Strong knowledge of EVM‑compatible chains, smart contract standards (e.g., ERC‑20, ERC‑4626, ERC‑4337), vault architecture, oracles, and cross‑chain integrations. Understanding of stablecoin mechanisms, collateral models, and yield generation strategies. Prior experience with digital asset custody solutions (e.g., Fireblocks, BitGo, Copper) is highly desirable. Familiarity with DeFi primitives such as AMMs, lending protocols, vaults, and aggregators. Background in building microservice architectures handling sensitive data in production. Strong knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs and frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js. Understanding of compliance‑aware systems including KYC/AML and regulatory integrations. Comfortable with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment practices. Proficiency in Git and collaborative coding environments. Who You Are A pragmatic engineer who thrives in fast‑moving, startup‑style environments. Nice to Haves Experience with cross‑chain messaging protocols (e.g., LayerZero, Axelar, Wormhole). Familiarity with wallet infrastructure and custody APIs (e.g., Privy, Fireblocks). Knowledge of real‑world asset (RWA) tokenisation and on‑chain fixed income products. Interest in tokenomics, governance, and incentive design.
