We offer comprehensive professional development opportunities and the chance to shape the security of one of the world's largest cloud providers.Key job responsibilitiesSecurity Operations ManagementManage on-site physical security operations for Data CentersOversee access control systems, guard force operations, and vendor contractsConduct risk assessments, security audits, and incident reportingGenerate and analyze security metricsImplement and maintain CCTV monitoring systems and media security protocolsEnsure protection of customer data through robust security measuresProcess and Policy ManagementImplement new security processes while maintaining compliance with Amazon policiesDevelop and execute security plans for special eventsCreate evacuation procedures and emergency response protocolsEstablish benchmarks for security performanceDesign customized policies to meet internal and external regulationsRelationship ManagementBuild and maintain partnerships with internal teams (DC Engineering, DC Operations)Coordinate with external partners (Vendors, Emergency Services)Supervise security contractors and monitor their performanceCollaborate with global security teamsProject ManagementDeliver security projects within specified timelines and budgetsProvide regular status updates to stakeholdersIdentify and address safety and security deficienciesConduct data analysis to support risk assessmentsTravel to other geographic regions as requiredBasic Qualifications5+ years in public or private security industryCorporate/DC security experience with a global companyProven track record in business continuity and operational securityExperience writing and publishing security standardsStrong working knowledge of physical security systems and componentsExpertise in security metrics and trend analysisAbility to develop and deliver security awareness training programsUnderstanding of crisis operations and risk managementExperience in managing daily operations and strategic program planningTrack record of building international and cross-functional relationshipsAbility to work independently and lead global teamsDemonstrated project management capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsConfident presentation abilities at all organizational levelsExperience in crisis communicationHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to analyze technical requirementsStrong decision-making and prioritization skillsResults-oriented approach to challengesExperience in risk assessment and mitigationValid driver's license (must use personal vehicle between locations)Willingness to travel internationallyAbility to work in an international environmentPreferred QualificationsLegal & Investigative ExpertiseComprehensive knowledge of investigative laws and practicesExperience conducting security investigationsUnderstanding of workplace safety regulations and complianceAdvanced knowledge of security technology, including access control systems, CCTV operations, identification systems, security applicationsRelevant security industry certificationsAdditional safety or security credentialsProven vendor management experienceDemonstrated decision-making abilities in complex situationsProficiency with data gathering and analysis toolsAbility to quickly adapt to new company systemsItalian language proficiency (verbal and written)Strong cross-cultural communication abilitiesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
