Take on technical leadership and work together with software and DevOps engineers as well as our machine learning and quantum experts to industrialise Multiverse’s core technologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field or relevant industry experience. Expert knowledge of Python and preferably other languages such as Rust and C/C++. Junior: 1–2 years of experience in software engineering with focus on machine learning and data science. Mid: 3+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on machine learning and data science. Senior: 5+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on machine learning and data science. Experience in frontend and backend development, with varying levels of seniority. Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Lit, and frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI. Experience in developing and deploying software systems on the cloud, e.g. AWS. Proficiency with git and CI/CD pipelines. Demonstrated commitment to maintainable, high‑quality code through best practices such as testing, documentation, and clean design principles, and the ability to instil this in others. Strong ability to work with APIs and design efficient application workflows. Excellent communication and soft skills: a people’s person. Ability to work with experts from different professional backgrounds, both in‑person and through online resources. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated familiarity with developing on and with LLMs, including tools and frameworks such as HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI APIs, vector databases, and model‑serving platforms. Experience with distributed computing frameworks and concepts, such as Ray, Apache Spark, or distributed training/inference across GPUs and nodes. Experience in working with cross‑functional teams. Experience with algorithm development and optimisation, designing scalable and robust class structures.
