(Junior) Global Demand Planner

Global Demand Planner role at dsm‐firmenich Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As Global Demand Planner you will be responsible to generate an unbiased forecast to ensure company resources are optimized and customer requirements are met. Key Responsibilities Review the demand plan in collaboration with the regions for categories having a relevant impact on Strategic Raw Materials Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics. Collect past & future demand factors (distribution gains/losses, price changes, new/discontinued products and promotion plans...) and forecast/ model their impacts on demand. Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand‐planning exception reports to identify and fix potential issues. Prepare and lead the demand reviews to create a consensus‐based demand plan Participate and support Sales and Operations Planning meetings with demand information and analysis and monitor, report, and improve forecast accuracy, driving continuous improvement across business units and supply chain. Master's in supply chain is a plus Supply Chain background with 1-2 years of experience in Demand and/or Business Planning Strong analytical and organizational skills Strong capability for collaborating in multinational, multicultural teams Proficient in English Good knowledge on Excel and PowerPoint.
