Company is a leading in the field of computer vision and AI for livestock farming. Operating in the global market. The company has strategic partnerships with major industry partners, including a leading biopharmaceutical company and a global technology solutions provider. We're looking for a hands-on Backend Team Lead to drive the architecture, development, and scalability of our core systems. You'll lead a small, talented team building the backbone of a high-performance, AI-driven product — designing for reliability and growth while moving fast and staying aligned with business needs. What You'll Do: Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 backend engineers. Design and develop scalable APIs, data pipelines, and integrations that power AI and product features. Stay hands-on in code, architecture, and reviews (.NET, .NET Core, AWS). Ensure system scalability, security, and maintainability while meeting delivery goals. Define standards for code quality, CI/CD, and operational excellence. Collaborate closely with AI, QA, and business teams to translate product needs into stable, efficient backend solutions. Balance technical ambition with business priorities — knowing when to innovate and when to ship. Requirements What You Bring: 8–10 years of experience in backend engineering; 2+ years leading teams. Deep experience with .NET / .NET Core, AWS (Lambda, ECR, RDS, S3, OpenSearch, etc.), REST API and async architectures. Proven track record of building scalable, production-grade systems. Strong system design and architecture judgment; knows tradeoffs and can explain them clearly. Strong product sense — understands tradeoffs, iteration speed, and value delivery. Experience mentoring engineers and fostering accountability across distributed teams. Comfortable in dynamic startup environments: adaptable, pragmatic and flexible. Deep "vibe coding" experience has built and debugged systems end-to-end using different AI tools and methods, and is forward-looking enough to recognize that AI-assisted engineering is the future
