Job Description: R&D Project Manager As an R&D Project Manager, you will support our team leaders in developing the family of optical multi-gigabit automotive transceivers, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, in line with company goals and public grant requirements (dissemination, IP, etc.). Responsibilities include: Developing comprehensive project plans and facilitating follow-up on scope, goals, and deliverables. Creating and maintaining detailed project documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps. Managing project budgets, planning, scheduling, and tracking deliverables. Managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Monitoring and reporting project status and progress. Presenting regular progress reports, identifying problems, and proposing solutions. Implementing and managing changes to achieve project goals in collaboration with team leaders. Working closely with various R&D teams and coordinating with assembly fabs during prototype, qualification, and production phases. Preparing and presenting documentation for external audits related to project validation. Establishing and maintaining collaborations with universities and research centers. Coordinating Master and PhD students with R&D teams on technical aspects. Ensuring dissemination of R&D activities through conferences, symposia, and publications. Managing agreements with collaborators such as partner companies, universities, and research centers. Communicating with patent attorneys regarding patent-related administrative work. Requirements: Degree in Industrial, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Proven experience of over 15 years in SW/HW development project management. Ability to analyze requirements and ensure project scope is met. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of version control and issue tracking software is advantageous. Continuous pursuit of technical excellence. Passion for learning from experience. Critical and constructive attitude.
