Join our team and build the future of space technology We’re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Space Mission Analysis Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to What you will be doing? Perform mission analysis tasks for small satellite missions (orbit selection, orbit propagation, coverage, access windows, ΔV requirements, station passes). Develop and maintain technical budgets (power, delta-V, pointing, etc). Support verification by analysis of mission-level requirements. Conduct thermal analysis (desirable, not required). Contribute to the development and evolution of internal mission analysis tools (Python-based). Use STK to perform mission analysis and generate key performance indicators (KPIs). Document results and contribute to technical reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.). Interface with Systems Engineering and other teams to ensure coherence across mission performance budgets. Support design iterations through analytical justification of key design decisions. What do we need in our team Fluency in English (written and spoken). Minimum of 5 years of experience in space missions, preferably with small satellites or CubeSats. Solid knowledge of orbital mechanics and mission analysis methods. Experience in technical budget development (power, ΔV, pointing, etc). Proficiency in Python for data analysis and tool development. Experience with STK for mission analysis. Experience in space radiation analysis. Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles. Candidate qualifications and skills Work remotely percentage of the time to be defined with the manager.
