We are a world leader in plasma-derived medicines with a presence in more than 100 countries, and a growing global team of over people.  Grifols Engineering SA, part of the Grifols Group and specialized in developing technological solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking to incorporate a IT/OT JUNIOR Automation Engineer.  The main role mission will be the involvement in cutting-edge automation and robotics projects to support the design, implementation, and deployment of industrial automation systems, including autonomous mobile robots (AGV/AMR). The role focuses on integrating IT/OT technologies and industrial communication networks, working closely with the engineering team lead throughout the project lifecycle — from testing and documentation to user training. What your responsibilities will be Assist in the technical design of automation and robotics solutions. Support the integration of AGV/AMR systems into industrial environments. Configure and maintain industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA) and wireless communications. Programming PLC and interfaces to others shop-floor systems (i.e: SCADA, MES,..). Support systems testing according to instructions of Engineering Team Lead and protocols. Prepare technical documentation and user manuals. Provide training and support to end users and operational teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, Operation & Maintenance). You posses a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.  You have at least 2 years in industrial environtments preferably in automation, robotics, or autonomous mobility projects.  You have experience with AGV/AMR systems, industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA), wireless communication technologies, PLC Programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Omron), SCADA (Siemens/AVEVA) systems and IT/OT integration protocols.  You have a high level of English (equivalent to B2 - Intermediate).
