Position Overview:

Socialpoint is excited to welcome a Senior Economy Designer to our Dragon City Team. The Senior Economy Designer will be responsible for the games economy, including ongoing balancing and optimizations, economy design for new events and features, and collaborating with seasoned game leads, product managers, and design teams to create engaging experiences for our players.

What You'll do:

  • Model and balance complex systems in the game to maintain a healthy and growing game economy.
  • Monitor, tune, and optimize game features and IAP purchases to drive player engagement and growth in important KPIs.
  • Perform ongoing data analysis, A/B testing, and advanced control models to predict outcomes of changes.
  • Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods, balancing free content versus paid.
  • Understand players' behavior and how different groups of customers behave differently to inform the design and balance of the economy.
  • Work closely with our Product Managers, Game Design, and Live Operations teams to design the desired game experiences.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably leading the economy in at least one successful live mobile F2P game.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and a data-driven approach with the ability to set measurable goals.
  • Strong communicator, skilled in working with multidisciplinary game teams (Product, Game Design, Analytics) and proficient in English.
  • Passionate about creating innovative, fun, and highly engaging games.
  • Creative problem-solver capable of generating multiple ideas and solutions to various challenges.
  • Exceptional team player who embraces transparency, honesty, and humility; experience in people management is a strong bonus.
  • Experience with SQL, R, or Python is an advantage.
