C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our Global Forwarding division in Valencia.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in driving growth for our services by discovering and securing exciting new customers for the branch. With your strong relationship-building skills, you'll thrive in our fast-paced and dynamic environment, representing an industry leader with cutting-edge technology, streamlined processes, and a top-notch team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Fostering customer relationships, making customer calls, and closing deals
  • Use CRM to identify, call, and track prospects in order to gain core and strategic customer opportunities
  • Visit customers and potential clients within the assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week
  • Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations
  • Bring your own contribution to the regional team, not only by consistently achieving your new net revenue targets, but also by sharing insights and best practices, in order to support the success of the entire sales team and the Branch you work with
  • Interpret how multiple factors affecting market conditions could impact a customer’s supply chain and can deliver a persuasive case for change
  • Maintain a strong commercial presence in the local marketplace, participating or presenting at regional events
  • Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with the local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of outside sales experience with a freight forwarder
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

  • A passion for business development with a strong sales mentality
  • Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to persuade, motivate, and inspire others.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven professional with a positive outlook and a dedication to high-quality work and profitability
  • Ability to maintain strong inter-company relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
