Check out our video for further insightsTrabajoHead of Operations (f/m/d) , full‑time role based in Barcelona, Spain .ResponsabilidadesDevelop and direct the overall strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of ISE trade show by collaborating with stakeholders, sales, and marketing teams to define business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines. Devise innovative solutions to enhance the impact of ISE trade show.Oversee the logistics of ISE trade show set‑up and tear‑down, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring that all exhibits are delivered and set‑up on time.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and client specifications.Lead and mentor the Operations team ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication, and high performance.Foster a positive work environment, provide training and support, and manage team workloads to ensure successful event execution.Coordinate event security planning and on‑site readiness with venues, partners, internal teams and official security bodies of the city of Barcelona.Act as a key escalation point for security‑related topics during live show delivery.Support compliance with safety, data protection, and operational risk standards across the event lifecycle.CualificacionesCompleted business studies with a focus on event management, trade fair, congress, or event marketing, or a comparable qualification, intensive professional experience and trade fair industry expertise.Proven experience in managing large‑scale events or exhibitions, including logistical and operational aspects and ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and manage international teams in a fast‑paced environment.At least 10‑15 years of experience in trade show operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and project management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused approach.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.Strong command of English and Spanish languages.Qué ofrecemosExciting and challenging tasks in the growing Audio Visual and Exhibition Industry.An open, friendly and value‑based, and trusted empathetic company culture.Cross‑departmental collaboration in an international, diverse, and initiative‑taking team across Europe.Regular travelling to other locations in Europe to meet and work with the ISE team.Short decision‑making processes, flat hierarchies, direct communication.Flexible working hours and mobile working options.Competitive salary and employer‑subsidised pension contribution.Competitive holiday package.Proceso de aplicaciónYou can expect an initial screening call, followed by two rounds of interviews (online or in person).
