Are you excited at the opportunity to electrify and decarbonize the world?What you’ll doCarry out commissioning activities for Protection, Control, Substation Automation Systems, and Industrial Communications.Serve as the main technical resource on site, leading problem resolution and providing technical direction to field teams.Perform Protection and Control engineering consulting: relay setting calculations, configuration of control units/gateways, coordination and selectivity studies, and short‑circuit analysis.Ensure full compliance with EHS regulations and promote a strong safety culture during all field activities.Deliver customer training and provide installation and service guidance.Maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, sales) to ensure smooth project execution.Prepare accurate, timely, and professional internal and external reports.Conduct, audit, and implement quality controls during field activities to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction.Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to enhance processes and operational efficiency.Basic QualificationsDegree in Engineering (any discipline), preferably in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent professional training in the electrical/electronic field.Willingness to travel an average of 150–160 days per year.Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).Valid work permit within the European Union.What Will Make You Stand OutPrevious experience as a Project, Product, System, or Testing Engineer, preferably in the same industry.Experience with electrical protection relays and control systems (LV, MV, HV); project and power plant experience it’s a plus.Knowledge of other languages such as French, Italian, German, and/or Russian will be a plus.Based in Bilbao or surrounding areas is preferred.Benefits Available To YouOur compensation & benefits are designed to reward high performers and help you manage your personal and family needs.
