Senior Technical Program Manager Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain Employment type: Full-time Seniority level: Senior Responsibilities Lead end-to-end technical programs, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product management, and operations—to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed program plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies; track progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle; proactively address challenges and remove roadblocks. Leverage technical knowledge to understand system architectures, dependencies, and trade-offs, ensuring informed decision-making. Act as the primary point of contact for program updates, providing clear and concise communication to stakeholders at all levels, including executives. Continuously evaluate and improve program management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Proven experience (7+ years) in technical program management, preferably in a software or technology-driven environment. Strong technical background, with a solid understanding of software development processes, system architectures, and cloud technologies. Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex programs on time and within scope. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse teams. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
