Research Assistant – Cellular & Molecular Mechanobiology Group (IBEC) The Cellular and Molecular Mechanobiology Group at IBEC is seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to conduct cutting‑edge research on stem cell mechanobiology. The role focuses on the interplay between mechanical cell–extracellular matrix interactions and cellular behaviour. Responsibilities Stem cell biology research Traction force microscopy Advanced time‑lapse microscopy Required Qualifications Degree and Master's in a field related to cell biology or biophysics Knowledge of stem cell culture techniques Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, proactivity, integrity, critical and analytical thinking skills High level of English proficiency Beneficial Experience Experience in cell culture Working Conditions Full‑time, 1‑year contract (open‑ended). Very competitive salary and benefits, including maternity and paternity leave, flexible schedule, teleworking, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, and additional support for visa and relocation in Barcelona.
