We are hiring a Commercial Insights & Data Associate to turn pharmaceutical datasets, marketplace activity, and customer behaviour into actionable insights that drive growth, alignment, and decision‑making.This is not a data engineering, data science, or generic data analyst role. This role is commercial first, insight‑driven role grounded in understanding how data shapes marketplace decisions, pricing, product, regulatory demand, and customer engagement.You will own the commercial analytics environment, build intuitive dashboards, extract relevant data, and most importantly, interpret and translate insights into clear commercial and enterprise implications.Sitting within the CEO Office this is a high‑impact opportunity to shape how a Series A marketplace uses data to drive strategy, enable cross‑functional execution, support customer success, and scale commercial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Insights & Decision SupportAnalyse marketplace behaviour to uncover insights that improve supplier and buyer conversionInterpret pharma datasets (tenders, pricing, product lists, supplier catalogues, demand signals) to identify commercial opportunitiesBuild dashboards that answer strategic questions rather than simply visualise dataProduce clear recommendations and commercial narratives based on your analysisSupport customer‑facing teams with insight packs demonstrating platform usage and valueCommercial Performance & Growth EnablementDiagnose conversion bottlenecks across the commercial funnelIdentify mismatches between supply and demand and propose commercial interventionsDrive alignment between Commercial and Tech on which insights matter and whyHelp shape how Axmed uses data to prioritise activities and refine its marketplace strategyBI OwnershipOwn and manage our BI workspace (MetaBase preferred)Ensure dashboards are accurate, intuitive, and easy for the Commercial team to self‑serveExtract data using SQL and Python when needed (not infrastructure building)Source and integrate new pharma‑related data sources to strengthen our market understandingCorporate Enablement & Enterprise IntelligenceEnable enterprise‑level decision‑making by transforming commercial, marketplace, and ecosystem data into clear, decision‑ready insights for the CEO and senior leadership.Contribute to building Axmed’s enterprise intelligence layer by supporting shared BI assets, insight packs, and analytical narratives used across the company.Help align teams around what matters most by translating data into prioritisation signals that inform strategy, execution focus, and resource allocation.Support the CEO Office with insight briefs, performance readouts, and strategic analyses that increase decision speed, confidence, and coherence.Cross‑Functional Communication & Insight TranslationServe as the bridge between Tech (data pipelines) and Commercial teamsConvert technical datasets into simple, commercially meaningful insightsHighlight trends and anomalies with clear implications for growth and strategyRequirements2–3 years in pharma, global health, healthcare, or a related commercial insights roleStrong understanding of pharma market dynamics, supplier/buyer behaviour, or procurement processesAbility to interpret and communicate data through a commercial and strategic lensExperience researching and integrating external market data sourcesEffective communication with non‑technical teamsAutonomous, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving Series A environmentProficiency with BI tools (Metabase preferred)SQL for slicing and querying dataPython for data manipulation and blending multiple datasetsExperience cleaning, transforming, and structuring datasetsAbility to derive statistical insights from information‑rich datasetsAbility to work with pharma datasets (tenders, pricing, catalogues, supplier data)What is in it for you?At Axmed, we believe in creating a supportive and rewarding environment where our team can thrive.
