Solution Engineer

Together, these technologies give ISPs the ability to manage and troubleshoot their networks in real time, and to deliver an outstanding customer experience.  AXON Networks is a trusted strategic partner for its customers, helping them evaluate their current technologies and business models, and creating and executing strategies that enable them to innovate faster, accelerate their digital transformations, and strengthen their relationships with consumers.  AXON Networks is headquartered in Irvine, CA USA with Asia HQ in Singapore and also operating in Denmark, Spain and Vietnam.  Responsibilities:   We are seeking a Solution Engineer to help us support product deployment and service releases for our current and future customers.  Reporting to the Manager of Solution Engineering, this position provides technical expertise and support during the installation, deployment, and maintenance phases of AXON Networks award-winning software products.  You will be part of an amazing global team that works in a very fast-paced and innovative environment. You will be working in a dynamic and continuous learning environment, with highly cooperative colleagues, and you will feel a part of a highly skilled technical community.  Participate in deployment projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and design tailored solutions. Provide technical support during installation, configuration, and testing of AXON products (including occasional work outside regular hours). Prepare technical environments for product demonstrations and customer trials. Maintain close communication with both internal teams and customer stakeholders, providing regular status updates. Troubleshoot complex system issues involving multiple network elements. Requirements:   B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 2–3 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar technical role. Linux OS experience. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Linux Bash. Knowledge of database models (SQL/NoSQL). Familiarity with network or telecom systems and devices (xDSL, optical fiber, Wi-Fi). Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams (Sales, Product, R&D, etc.). Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in a hybrid role in Madrid and travel internationally up to 10%. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience working on Java systems. Familiarity with object-oriented programming beyond Java. Exposure to DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.). Prior experience supporting large-scale software deployments for telecom or network operators.
