Cloud Engineering Division is looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer in our Madrid location to help us extend the portfolio of our Cloud Platform Services, shape the future of our cloud infrastructure, and evolve our DevOps and SRE practices. In this role, you will be… Architecting, designing, driving and implementing self-services with guardrails used company-wide by internal customers Implementing unit and BDD tests ensuring high quality of the services following the best practices in the industry Designing and supporting robust build deployment and configuration management systems for multi-tier applications Working closely with the InfoSec, DevOps & Platform Engineering teams in establishing baseline architecture requirements and best practices, optimization, security, high availability and resource planning Utilizing 'DevSecOps' principles and tools to improve systems and processes Contributing to Center of Excellence initiatives and projects by writing Cloud Policies, assisting with Technical Debt elimination, researching, and introducing best Cloud Practices across the organization, hardening our Cloud Posture Rolling-out and supporting Docker-based infrastructure platform in Staging Environments and Production (Docker, K8s, and AWS EKS); suggesting and implementing improvements into the platform in order to bring it to the next level of excellence. In this role, you’ll need … 7+ years of information technology experience 3+ years of experience in Python scripting (commercial software development is preferred but not required) 3+ years’ experience with AWS, expert knowledge of AWS SFN, Lambda, Dynamo and EKS services 3+ years of experience with Terraform, strong Terraform modules design and development skills Proficiency in BDD-style test automation Knowledge of code-tracking, code-review, build, task-tracking, bug-tracking processes, and tools (Git, Bitbucket, Crucible, Bamboo, JIRA) Extensive experience testing, troubleshooting and improving performance (application & database) Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment Passion for DevSecOps, systems monitoring, automation and Site Reliability Engineering
