The Role We are currently looking for anambitious and highly motivated LLM Engineer / Generative AI Engineerto join our dynamic team and help usadapt our platform, technology stack, and internal processesto support the launch and expansion of Ibancar inSpain and Mexico. This is ademanding yet highly rewarding role, offering a unique opportunity to join a very ambitious fintech business. The position ishands-on by nature, and ideally, the successful candidate will haveprevious experience in a fintech or financial services company in Spain. Key Responsibilities Design and optimizeadvanced promptswith a focus onreliability, traceability, and error control. Build and orchestratemulti-agent systems(tools, function calling, workflows) to automate complex processes. Implement and integrate: Internal and legal documentation Structured databases Internal and external APIs Developautomated evaluation systemsfor AI outputs (quality, consistency, hallucinations). Use AI for: Code generation and refactoring Automated testing AI-assisted code reviews Collaborate closely withbackend, product, and compliance teamsto integrate AI intobusiness-critical workflows. Ensure best practices insecurity, privacy, and data governance. Models & AI Tools Models & Providers OpenAI Claude Gemini AI Productivity Tools GitHub Copilot Cursor Codeium Requirements Proven ability to design and maintainmulti-step workflows and agent-based architectures, including: Complex process orchestration Secure use of tools and APIs Validation, control, and safety layers Strong programming skills, with a focus on: Maintainable and testable code Integration of AI systems with existing services Continuous delivery of features that directly impact fintech products Experience working withAPIs, databases, and cloud servicesis highly valued. Practical knowledge ofdistributed systems, including: Microservices Event-driven architectures Workflow automation Comfortable acting as thefirst AI engineer, helping define: The long-term AI platform Development and governance standards Cross-functional integration with product, IT, operations, and compliance Ability to transformambiguous or complex requirements(common in growing fintech environments) intopredictable, observable, and maintainable systems, reducing operational and technical risk. Apragmatic, results-oriented mindsetwith a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for: The quality of automated decisions Impact on customers and the business Buildingintelligent, secure, reliable, and scalable automation
