About this opportunity The Contract Manager will be responsible for providing support to the Special Markets Business and related Functions in contract management to enable efficient and accurate implementation and stewardship of contracts and business opportunities. You will work closely with the EMEA Special Markets team and surrounding functions. You are based in the Align office in Madrid and report directly to the EMEA Special Markets Business Process Manager. In this role, you will… Review, analyze and store all business cases and contracts in close collaboration with Legal and key stakeholders Ensure the organization's internal business case and contract documents are accurate and well maintained Manage business case to contract pipeline and reporting, ensuring data and process are well maintained Own contract management from draft / template to signature to storage and reporting Provide support and advice on formulating new potential businesses opportunities and business cases as presented by the Commercial Team. Identify opportunities to improve business processes related to opportunity and contract management and devise plans to implement these changes Audit existing business cases, contracts, templates and incentives and assist in modifications and standardization in close collaboration with Legal and adjacent functions. Ensure that business goals and guidelines are accomplished in business case and contract implementation Train and assist the different teams relating to contract processing (models, components, tools) Communicate contract implementations, status and metrics to stakeholders in collaboration with Reporting, Business Operations and Legal Conduct special projects as assigned. Delivery of KPI and SLA in related systems. In this role, you’ll need … 1-3 years of experience as a contract manager or paralegal Solid contract management and commercial terms knowledge Experience in SalesForce, SAP Ariba, DocuSign or other contract management tools or ability to quickly learn different systems Strong attention to detail Ability to professionally manage confidential information Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to navigate a cross-functional role with multiple stakeholders across geographies Fluent in English (written and spoken) General knowledge of business operations, objectives, process and information flow
