Senior Commissioning Specialist in Data Center Cooling

SENIOR COMMISSIONING SPECIALIST Data Center Cooling The Senior Commissioning Specialist is responsible for providing professional on‑site services for the cooling range of products produced by Schneider Electric to its customers, including commissioning, technical on‑site analysis and resolution of customer issues. The Regional Cooling Service Representative focuses on complex and critical projects, including troubleshooting and on‑site support for Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air‑ or water‑cooled chillers, CRAC/CRAH units). Location & commitments Candidates are welcome from: Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain Possibility to work remotely Extensive international travel (70%) within Europe – mainly Germany, France, BENELUX, Northern Europe, UK and others (financial bonus for travelling) To be an EU passport holder is mandatory for this role Main responsibilities Perform startup & commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range Evaluate unit installation (e.g. pipe quality for in‑units and hydraulic circuit for chillers) Evaluate system installation & operational conditions Perform onsite adjustments to bring units to optimal running conditions Identify failures related to quality issues, software issues or operational conditions (root‑cause analysis) Collaborate with Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventions Document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair to the designated disposal/repair location Train Schneider Electric customers on basic operation of the equipment Perform preventive & corrective maintenance for cooling systems Requirements Thorough understanding of HVAC principles, specifically cooling, and basic knowledge of electricity Ability to perform duties with general direction; work is usually independent of other team members Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle multiple variables Handle multiple tasks simultaneously Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time (EU passport holder required) Education & Experience University education – Mechanical or Electrotechnical (University degree) At least 5 years in commissioning or field service repair with HVAC or cooling equipment Confirmed experience with Cooling Equipment & Solutions (air cooling, air‑ or water‑cooled chillers) Experience with precision cooling is a real advantage Experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression Mandatory: fluent communication in English (B2+ level minimum) Flexibility & reliability, focus on technical details & customer focus, team player, leadership skills Good software tool literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD Application If you are interested, send us your CV in English language.
